WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?
When I was abroad in Madrid, the Real Madrid futbol team won the Champions League and it was one of the coolest experiences ever to get to watch the game in a bar with locals and fellow international students and witness the win and then walk the streets around Cibeles (and just the whole city) and see everyone celebrating. I got to learn all of the Real Madrid chants and support the team of this city that I had grown to love the past 4 months. Then later that week we got to go to Sol for the award ceremony and it was so fun to be around all of these people still celebrating and see the players so happy from their win.

I took this class at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid called global health and it has to be one of my favorite classes that I have ever taken. I am an Econ major and this class was all about the economics behind health systems and different health behaviors. The topics were so interesting and the professor was one of my favorites ever. He was so passionate and really made the class an enjoyable atmosphere. I still think back on everything I learned in that class and how I grew from taking it.
